The Group of Oceanic Communications has experienced continuous growth since its inception in October 1996. Our journey began with Rádio Oceano, which distinguished itself with a unique infrastructure and quickly revolutionized the FM radio landscape in the southern region. Within a short period, it established itself as the leading station in audience share, as verified by data from the Institute of Research and Opinion – IPO.

Rádio Oceano is characterized by its eclectic programming, embodying the philosophy of playing what constitutes success. It has earned a reputation as "the most listened-to station," a title achieved through strategic interactivity, engaging events, promotions, and guaranteed value for our advertisers.

The Grupo de Notícias was added in 2015, becoming the first regional news portal in the southern part of the state. Its rapid rise to prominence can be attributed to its user-friendly interface, real-time updates, and commitment to journalism credibility and seriousness. This positions the portal as the primary information source for our dedicated audience.

In 2021, we introduced 91.1 FM, a station tailored for an adult and contemporary audience. It focuses on delivering an exclusive, high-quality programming mix that ranges from classic hits and MPB to international music trends—always rooted in regional culture and identity. The station is designed to offer listeners an engaging musical experience with a consistent selection of quality songs.

Through these initiatives, we have cultivated a vast community of loyal "Oceanáticos" who follow us across multiple platforms—via Rádio Oceano and 91.1 FM broadcasts, the News Portal, our YouTube channel Oceano TV, as well as Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter profiles. This multi-platform presence has established Grupo Oceano as one of the leading communication groups in the southern region of the state.
